Ian and Rose La Terriere offer you a choice of our fully equipped holiday cottages, with log fires, separately located amongst magnificent scenery of mountains, lochs and native woodlands with breathtaking views. Each home is privately situated and dog friendly.

From a tower house by the river to a secluded honeymoon retreat for two, each of the nine holiday homes has a unique character of its own.

"Absolutely fabulous, had a great time, looking very much forward to staying in the Old Laundry again"

Dunalastair Estate is within easy reach of a vast array of activities for all ages and interests.   Within half an hour, there are distilleries, galleries, shopping, water sports, fishing, golf, historic castles, bungee jumping, theatre, gardens and much more.

Rannoch is a wonderfully quiet and unspoilt glen in a National Scenic Area and is perfect for spotting interesting wildlife, such as deer and osprey, pine marten and red squirrels.

We have been chosen for one of the most iconic locations
in the popular US TV series, OUTLANDER.

Centrally placed for Exploring Scotland

Right at the centre of mainland Scotland, Dunalastair Estate, in Highland Perthshire, is perfectly placed for visiting a wide area and taking in such historic places as Blair Castle, Balmoral, Scone Palace, Perth, Loch Ness, the Trossachs and Fort William.

It is easy to make a day trip to Edinburgh and Glasgow by train from Pitlochry or Rannoch Station.  You can even take a trip on the West Highland Line (Harry Potter line!) to the fishing village of Mallaig for lunch and be home in time for tea.  It is one of the great train journeys of the world.

TRIP ADVISOR REVIEWS - in case you are wondering where our reviews have disappeared to; when we stopped advertising with Trip Advisor/Holiday Lettings in October 2016 (because they wanted to take bookings directly and we like to deal personally with potential visitors), they took down all of our (five star) reviews and will not allow anyone to review us subsequently, as far as we can see.  We now use Upfront Reviews which guarantees that the reviewers have stayed in the cottage about which they write.
